It's neighborhood garage sale weekend and my girls LOVE it. It's always amazing what they can buy for a quarter. Well, Hannah took the cake this year. The neighbors across the street gave her a whole bag of rings "for free". This morning she showed me the most special ring EVER. she proceeds to open up her little hand and laying there in the middle is a gleaming gold and diamond ring. Ummm... "Hannah honey, let mommy see that up close please". I look closely but can't tell. I see "1/2 KC" stamped inside the band. Off we head to the jewelry store as I explain that if it's real we need to give it back because surely Mrs. Weeks is frantically looking for it. In we trail through the door to our neighborhood jewelry store. "Can you do me a favor please? Can you confirm that this isn't real?"......
After a moment of suspense, nope, it's a really good fake:). I have a happy little girl wearing her new bling:)
