I love it when I see family traits in my girls. An expression, cadence of their speech, a saying they've picked up along the way, little idiosyncrasies that bring to mind a loved one.
That picture up there, a straw wrapper tied into a bow, makes me smile and makes my heart so full. You see, it's something we all picked up from Mamo. She always tied wrappers into knots or bows. It's the silly little things like this that make me feel so blessed, because I see Mamo living on in all of my daughters. What a blessing family ties are...giving future generations a foundation to stand on and common thread that binds us all together.
