Passing on the legacy

Mamo taught me how to sew when I was super young. By the time I was in kindergarten, I was sewing my own doll clothes on the sewing machine and embroidering pictures to make into pillows. It brings me so much joy to pass on everything Mamo taught me to my girls. I've been on an embroidery binge lately and it's intrigued Gracie and Hannah, so they've asked to learn how to do it for themselves. I found a sweet kitty pattern for them to sew and they began sewing their blocks tonight. I hope they continue down this path; they're certainly off to a good start.
